1985 1985 Worship Caravan was "Celebrate Son Shine" Description by destination: The first Caravan was an idea brought to us by Rev. Carrie Fincher. As a youth, Carrie had experienced a Worship Caravan in a South Dakota youth group led by Rev. Sam Muyskens. In 1985 Carrie was the associate intern pastor at West Heights, she was also in charge of youth ministry. This was the first Caravan Carrie directed. She helped lead and plan three others, not at West Heights, to Canada, the Southern States and one to the Northeastern States. Only a half sheet promotional flyer draft and a videotape of the return service and reception dinner remain.    There were 12 youth and 4 sponsors on our first Worship Caravan.
