1988   1988 Worship Caravan was "Putting the Pieces Together" Description by destination: South Dakota.   There were 7 youth and 4 sponsors.   Youth: Robert Carnahan Amy Craven Michelle Green Wendy Green Jennifer Loomis Kirk Short Kim Warren Sponsors: Bob Green Karen Rice Jeff Walker Paul McGinty They traveled 1444 miles. Providing an unknown number of worship services and traveling through three states; Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota. They traveled to the following locations: The videotape of the service upon returning to West Heights, is the only known record of where they went. They gave only a brief description. They had only a two day retreat and left on Thursday the 4th of August not June. They traveled up to South Dakota then back through Goodland and Kirwin, Kansas. The video shows this is one of the first if not the first Worship Caravan where the Youth brought back mementoes to display on the alter. In addition to the seven youth Karen, Jeff and Paul were a part of the actual service. Youth director Karen Elliot and Sam Muyskens helped give assistance during the retreat but did not travel with the group.
