Shepherd’s Center is a network of interfaith community-based organizations that provide meaning and purpose for adults throughout their mature years. They have a commonly understood mission to empower older adults to use their wisdom and skills for the good of their community.

Shepherd’s Center of West Wichita is…
An organization providing opportunities for active seniors to share their wisdom and expertise with others and to further develop their talents, skills, and knowledge.
An organization of volunteers who individually contribute their unique experiences and interests to collectively provide programs meeting a special community need.
Programs provided include:
- Adventures in Learning
- adult learning experiences including lunch, fellowship, and informal afternoon activities. Two six week sessions held per year in the spring and fall.
- Day trips
- travel together in a comfortable air conditioned bus to visit unique places in and around Kansas. Held during the summer months in June, July, and August.
