Meet our Spiritual Team

The team of leaders at West Heights UMC is comprised of ordained ministers and dedicated members who strive to support our community in their spiritual journey, address any questions, lead worship, and organize church activities.

REV. DR. TRUDY KENYON ANDERSON

Clergy: Senior Pastor

Pastor Trudy is a passionate and skilled minister who has served in various churches in Kansas and Nebraska. She has a heart for the hurting and a strong belief in the importance of faith formation and Christian education. With a background in accounting, she has also served in leadership positions in the Great Plains Conference, including the chair of the Vital Congregations Committee, and as a mentor to Lay Servant Ministers, Licensed Local Pastors, and Provisional Elders.

REV. BEV BAUGMGARTNER

Clergy: Associate Pastor

Rev. Bev Baumgartner has been ordained in the Mennonite Church (USA) since 2000 and works in the area of discipleship and family faith formation.  Her previous work has included chaplaincy in the long-term care setting and ministry with children and families in the Mennonite Church USA. She lives outside of Wichita with her husband Joel Ewy and their two children.

LINDA GOTT

Staff: Preschool Director

Linda has been involved in early childhood education since 1984, and has been at West Heights Preschool since 2008. Young children and their families are her passion.  She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
