Anyone who wants to share their gifts of carpentry, plumbing, electrical skills, painting, landscaping, gardening or just helping others who need a bit of help around their home are welcome to serve in the Handyman program. This servant team schedules periodic work dates to help West Heights members who need assistance with light house and yard maintenance or small repairs. Anyone can serve: men, women and youth. No specific skills are required - just a loving heart to help others. Homeowners purchase the materials (if any) and the Handyman team does the work! Upcoming Opportunities To Serve
The Handyman program generally runs from March to November each year. However, it can be available all year if there is a need and people to serve are available. Work teams are typically scheduled on weekends for 3 hours or so. But, you can work a shorter period if needed. They meet in the church parking lot to assemble, discuss the work ahead, pray and then drive to the work sites. Please click here to see what service opportunities are coming up soon!
