Reading Coaches Needed!
Sign Up by June 15th for Training!!

The Women United® Read to Succeed initiative focuses on helping children read at grade level by third grade, when students begin to transition from “learning to read” to “reading to learn.” Volunteer reading coaches are matched with at-risk students at targeted local elementary schools. They meet weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday with a student for 30 minutes to listen to them read and provide intervention tactics to help them improve their reading skills.  No financial commitment is needed to volunteer as a reading coach and both men and women are invited to participate.
